USM Inter-Institutional Enrollment
Purpose: To allow degree-seeking graduate and undergraduate students to register for courses at other University System of Maryland institutions while paying tuition only to UMBC.
Procedure: Carefully review the Inter-Institutional enrollment guidelines to determine if you are eligible to participate. Complete both the Inter-Institutional and the Verification of Transferability forms. After obtaining your advisor’s signature, submit both forms to the Inter-Institutional Enrollment Coordinator in the Registrar’s Office.
Processing Time: Processing of your registration at other USM institutions will vary depending on the host institution’s procedures.
BSEP InterInstitutional Registration
Purpose: To allow degree-seeking undergraduate students with at least sophomore standing to register for courses at various Baltimore-area institutions while paying tuition only to UMBC (Baltimore Student Exchange Program).
Procedure: Carefully review the BSEP guidelines to determine if you are eligible to participate. Complete both the BSEP and the Verification of Transferability forms. After obtaining your advisor’s signature, submit both forms to the BSEP Coordinator in the Registrar’s Office
